John Bender

John is the firm’s Chief Financial Officer and brings deep experience and training in a broad range of business matters including financial analysis, quantitative modeling, process management, communications, personnel, and information technology. Prior to joining the firm, John worked in music production, event planning, audio technology, and as an independent consultant to executive coaching and arts administration firms.

John divides his time between Mt. Airy and Brooklyn, NY, where he lives with his wife, Adair Smith. He holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College, an MA in Music Business from New York University, and an MBA from Baruch College/CUNY Zicklin School of Business.
