Karen L. Wolfe

Karen practices in estate planning and administration, tax and real estate, executive compensation, and advises independent schools on compliance and governance issues. Karen also serves as general counsel for non-profits and independent schools. She also assists clients with litigation surrounding employment and trust and probate matters.

Karen received her law degree from Temple University's Beasley School of Law, where she was the recipient of the Nat N. Wolfsohn Memorial Award in Real Property. Karen also graduated from Stockton University as a Charles C. Reynolds Journalism Scholarship recipient.

Before joining Commons & Commons, Karen was a managing attorney at the Defenders’ Association of Philadelphia, where she was a litigator and supervising attorney. She is currently a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Section’s Rules Committee, as well as a member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Life Planning Network, a national association of professionals, focused on creating a positive experience in the second half of life.

Karen is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
