Katherine B. Commons
Katie practices estate planning, estate and trust administration, and handles tax matters, providing estate and organizational planning and tax advice to individuals, families, fiduciaries, and organizations. Before joining the firm, Katie was a Registered Nurse working in oncology.
Katie received her law degree summa cum laude from Temple University's Beasley School of Law (Order of the Coif), where she attained the highest grade point average in her graduating class (receiving the Albert L. Bricklin graduation award). She was also awarded Beasley, Theodore Flowers, Arthur Pomerantz, Louis Matkoff, and Joseph W. Marshall merit scholarships and Joseph W. Price, III, and TASA graduation awards for achievement in taxation and evidence. She is a member of the Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society. Katie also graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Nursing and manga cum laude from Middlebury College. Additionally, Katie is an adjunct professor at Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.
Katie is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
